PURPOSE: A device for insulating an inner part of blast furnace drive unit is provided to extend service time of the blast furnace drive unit by effectively protecting driving part of unit from thermal load of an inner part of blast furnace and smoothly charge ore into the blast furnace by preventing facility accident such as operation defects during unit operation. CONSTITUTION: In an insulating device for insulating an inner part of blast furnace drive unit installed right above blast furnace to enable rotation and tilting operations of distribution chute for distributing raw material charging of the blast furnace, the device for insulating the inner part of the blast furnace drive unit comprises an insulation member(20) installed at lower drainage can of the blast furnace drive unit and metal cases(132a,128a) of turntable(128), and between insulation metal cases(10) fixed to the outer side of the metal cases(132a,128a) to cut off high temperature inside the blast furnace; and a heat resistant castable layer(30) additionally attached onto the outskirts of the insulation metal cases(10) to increase thermal insulation property by emitting and radiating high temperature of the blast furnace, wherein the insulation member(20) is formed of ceramic fiber as an ultra-high temperature refractory insulating material, and the insulation metal cases(10) for fixing the insulation member(20) from an outer side of the metal cases(132a,128a) of the blast furnace drive unit is fixed to fixing bolt(12) welded to the metal cases(132a,128a) using nut and washer, and wherein the heat resistant castable layer(30) is solidly attached to an outer surface of the insulation metal cases(10) by Y-stud vertically attached to an outer surface of the insulation metal cases(10).
