The carrier frame (10) has at least one guide rail (14a,14b) receiving a sliding fixing plate, the facing surfaces of the guide rail and the fixing plate provided with complementary surface structures, transverse to the adjustment direction, held in engagement via releasable fixing elements (G). The complementary surface structures carry the weight of the sanitary fitting after release of the fixing elements, with adjustment of the sanitary fitting by application of an additional force.
