摘要

The use of recombinant IFN-beta for the production of a medicament for the treatment of HCV infection by subcutaneous administration to patients of Asi an race, which failed to respond to a previous treatment with interferon -alpha , is herein reported. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, th is treatment can be better and further focused to those patients, which after 4 weeks of initial treatment with IFN-beta show HCV RNA clearance.
