The outer-lying floor frame support (1) for a support structure of a lorry's body is made from a L-section steel profile, with one member (4) lying in the floor plane and the other member (5) forming the outer side of the support structure. The lower region of the outer side of the floor frame support changes in one piece into an outwards projecting additional member (6) which serves especially as a stanchion support surface and is provided with mountings for tarpaulin fastening devices. An Independent claim is included for a steel profile especially for floor frame supports of a support structure of a lorry's body.
