A collapsible support frame has a horizontal cross beam with a pair of hinged legs on each end. Each pair of leg consists of two L-section profiles which are joined at their upper end by a pivot pin. Each pair of profiles is attached to a hinge bracket with a cross pin. The brackets are free to hinge about the beam ends so that when the frame is unfolded each leg is retained in a position which gives the frame a stable stance. When support is folded up, the legs stow away inside the U-profile of the support cross beam. |
