AXIAL-SLIDING TYPE OPTICAL PICKUP ACTUATOR

PURPOSE: An axial-sliding type optical pickup actuator is provided to realize the tracking without any influence of stick slippage since a driving part including an objective lens is movable in a micro range by the deformation of an elastic hinge even though a guide part becomes unmovable by friction. CONSTITUTION: An axial-sliding type optical pickup actuator includes a driving part(20) and a guide part(50). The driving part is stacked with an objective lens(30) and provided with coil parts(40) at both side surfaces. The guide part is connected to a lower part of the driving part by an elastic hinge(70) and formed with guide holes(52,54) coupled with guide rails(60). The elastic hinge makes the driving part move in several micrometer range. One of the guide holes is circular and the other one is an elongated hole for securing the movement with respect to the guide rails, thereby complementing the change of the width between the rails and minimizing the friction force.
