The title material comprises a flexible laminate of, in order, a first hypoallergenic adhesive layer, a support layer for the adhesive, a second layer of adhesive and a layer of printable material. The printable layer may be liquid impervious and the support layer liquid absorbant. The laminate may be provided with a release layer and is manufactured by combining a first hypoallergenic adhesive tape and a second printable adhesive tape in the nip between two rollers. The laminate may be used in patient identification, for attaching medical information bearing labels to patient or for temporary security applications, eg. regulating crowd access to avenue. |
