Multiple layer component comprises a base body (1) containing a stack (2) made from dielectric layers (3) and electrode layers (4), a first multilayer capacitor (C1) with a first contact (81) on the first side surface (61) and a second contact (80) on a front surface (71), and a second multilayer capacitor (C2) with a first contact (82) on the second side surface (62) and a second contact (80) on the front surface. A resistance structure is additionally integrated in the component. An Independent claim is also included for a switching arrangement containing the above multiple layer component.
