The riveting hammer (1) for riveting counter nuts (4) is capable of both riveting and forwards and backwards axial movements in order to widen a nut collar (10) on a nut body (2), which together with a holed washer (3) forms a counter nut. A front operative end of the riveting hammer incorporates a central, rotation-symmetrical guide pin (24). The guide pin narrows forwards by being limited by a first cover surface (25), which in the area of a free outer end has a reduced diameter and in the area of an inner root end an increased diameter, which is less than the hammer diameter. At the root end the first cover surface evolves into a second cover surface (27) with a generally narrowing shape, but with a much greater cone angle than the first cover surface. |
