摘要 PURPOSE: A hollow discharge type display device using a carbon nano tube is provided to perform a driving operation under the low voltage by forming a carbon nano tube layer within a cathode electrode. CONSTITUTION: A hollow discharge type display device using a carbon nano tube includes a first base electrode(18), a couple of second base electrodes(20), a cathode electrode(6), a carbon nano tube(10), a dielectric layer(14), an insulating layer(12), an anode electrode(16), and discharge gas. The first base electrode(18) is formed in line patterns on a rear substrate(4). The second base electrodes(20) are formed in parallel to the first base electrode(18). The cathode electrode(6) has fine cavities(6a) and is formed on a pixel region of the second base electrodes(20). The carbon nano tube(10) is formed on a predetermined position apart from the cathode electrode(6) on the first base electrode(18). The insulating layer(12) is formed on an entire substrate of the rear substrate(4) except for the cathode electrode(6) and the carbon nano tube(10). The dielectric layer(14) is formed on the cathode electrode(6). The anode electrode(16) is formed in line patterns on the insulating layer(12) and the dielectric layer(14). The discharge gas is injected between the front and the rear substrates(2,4).
