SYSTEM HAVING LAN GATE AND DEPARTMENT COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT SERVER FOR PROVIDING LAN-TYPE INTERNET CONNECTION SERVICE

PURPOSE: A system having a LAN(Local Area Network) gate and a department communication management server for providing a LAN-type Internet connection service is provided to dynamically manage a WAN(Wide Area Network) interval traffic according to a connection state and have the maximum transmission speed with respect to a traffic in a department of a LAN interval. CONSTITUTION: A department communication management server(10) has a bandwidth management subsystem(10-3). The bandwidth management subsystem(10-3) manages an IP address and MAC(Media Access Control) address list of a service server in a department, and distributes the IP address and MAC address list to LAN gates. The bandwidth management subsystem(10-3) monitors the WAN interval upstream traffic quantity and downstream traffic quantity of an edge router, and monitors the subscriber connection present state in a corresponding time. The bandwidth management subsystem(10-3) calculates a predetermined subscriber-classified bandwidth management quantity and a bandwidth management quantity according to WAN interval data or data in the department on the basis of monitored information, and instructs the corresponding LAN gate(16n) to manage a bandwidth. The LAN gate(16n) has a bandwidth management module(16-2). The bandwidth management module(16-2) judges whether data received in the LAN gate(16n) are the data in the department or the WAN interval data, and manages the bandwidth of upstream or downstream data of the data in the department or the WAN interval data according to the judged result.
