SMART CARD HAVING STRENGTHENED SECURITY FUNCTION AND SECURITY INFORMATION PROTECTING METHOD OF THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A smart card having a strengthened security function and a security information protecting method of the same are provided to protect a malicious user from accessing the security information and to keep the security between application programs. CONSTITUTION: A data memory(7) stores data. A program memory(3) stores the application programs. A vector table region(5) stores only a jump code jumping to a security program region(4) storing the security program protected from other application program in the program memory. A microprocessor(2) processes the data of the data memory by executing the security program only if an address of the vector table region is assigned by changing a value of a program counter while executing one application program.
