PURPOSE: A long distance interfacing device of the second generation and the third generation mobile communication systems is provided to configure a chip for converting a TAXI(Transparent Asynchronous Transmitter/Receiver Interface) message into an optical signal and transceiving the signal, and to apply the signal to the second generation and the third generation gateways, thereby implementing the second generation and the third generation interfaces. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal conversion card(430) is added to convert a TAXI message into an optical signal to be transmitted through an optical cable, in connection with a TAXI link of the second generation mobile communication system(100). An interface card(420) is connected to a gateway of the third mobile communication system(200) through an optical cable, and converts a received optical signal into a TAXI message to transmit the TAXI message to the third generation mobile communication system(200). A message changing unit(410) changes the TAXI message in message format applied to the third generation mobile communication system(200). |
