PURPOSE: A method for supplying a user interface in a mobile terminal and a device therefor are provided to automatically supply a service menu corresponding to a receiving identifier when the receiving identifier is firstly inputted, thereby efficiently improving a method for using a short message. CONSTITUTION: A terminal inputs selection information on a receiver(300). The terminal inputs selection information on a service to be supplied in correspondence with the receiver(305). If the service is a voice call, the terminal extracts a telephone number corresponding to a user, and attempts connecting a call with the telephone number(315). If the service is a short message, the terminal inputs a message to be transmitted from the user, and transmits the message to a cellular phone corresponding to the user(320). If the service is a wireless Internet connection, the terminal attempts connecting to a wireless Internet address corresponding to the user(325). A user interface supplying procedure is completed.
