PURPOSE: A skeleton of a folding tent whose length is decreased when folding is provided to promote the convenience on use when loading. CONSTITUTION: The skeleton of a folding tent whose length is decreased when folding comprises the steps of forming an outer pipe(310) as long as the maximum length of an interval between upper and lower central couplers(330,340), fixing the lower end of the outer pipe(310) to the central coupler(340) and passing the upper end of the outer pipe(310) through the central coupler(330), forming an inner pipe(320) longer to be projected under the outer pipe(310), fixing a backing coupler(400) provided with four joints(401) on the lower part of a backing plate(301) of the inner pipe(320), connecting ascending connectors(410,420) on the joint(401) and the upper central coupler(330), and connecting an ascending support(440) in the middle of the lower central coupler(340) and the ascending connector(420), so that a backing post(300) ascends beyond the ascending distance of the central coupler(340) to shorten the length of folding if spreading a skeleton.
