<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a vehicle having a number of segments capable of converging a beam of light emitted from a light source on a specific mirror plate. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting device 10 for a vehicle comprises a light source 12, a mirror plate 16 having at least a first segments 18 and a second segments 20, and a first reflector 14 for conducting the light emitted from the light source 12 to the mirror plate 16. Wherein, a first photo-active member 26 arranged on a light path between the light source 12 makes light rays emitted from the light source 12 deflect, and further, incident angles to the first reflector 14 of the deflected light rays are designed so that their corresponding reflecting angles will be headed at least within the second segments 20 of the mirror plate 16 from the first reflector 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
