<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high degree of orientation at the time of manufacturing a raidally oriented magnet by using multistage filling. <P>SOLUTION: In a rare-earth alloy powder molding method, a powder filling step of packing a rare-earth alloy powder 24 in a cavity formed by inserting the lower punch 14 of a powder molding apparatus into the through hole of a die 10 and an orienting and compressing step of pressurizing the rare-earth alloy powder while an oriented magnetic field is impressed are repeated several times. At the time of performing the (n+1)-th (wherein, n is an integer of ≥1) orienting and compressing step, the upper end face of the molded body 26 formed in the n-th orienting and compressing step is disposed higher in level than the lower end face of the magnetic material portion 10a of the die 10.
