PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency informing device with image display capable of exercising a superior function to respond to the abnormality of a vehicle in an image transfer device for monitoring the vehicle such as a railroad. SOLUTION: In a vehicle monitoring system in a passenger compartment of a railroad vehicle such as an electric train, a train, a rail motor car, a monorail and the like, a camera image of the abnormal vehicle can be displayed on a monitor image plane by one twin-core shield wire regardless of the number of cars of the vehicle, with an operation number as operation information, a car number, the positional information, the station-to-station information, and the date information such as an occurrence time, when the emergency report or the abnormality in door opening is generated to inform the occurrence of the emergency status to a crew by the operation by a passenger. When the emergency report is generated from a plurality of passengers, the images of two cameras mounted in each car are projected as two-image plane display at an interval of about five seconds, and the data of the abnormal vehicle is held even when the vehicle data such as the car number and the station-to- station information from the display setting unit are cleared.
