PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management structure capable of recording contents data such as a video or a voice on a randomly accessed information recording medium, discriminating a scene contained in the recorded contents data at a glance when reproduction is carried out, and facilitating reproduction, editing and the like by a single scene. SOLUTION: Contents data a, b, c, d are recorded on a randomly accessed disk recording medium 1 by setting one scene from the start of recording to its end, and setting one scene as one file. Regarding bits of management information A, B, C, ... necessary for reproducing the contents data of one scene, only bits of management information of the places necessary for reproduction are recorded together as one recording order management file 2 in the sequence of scenes recorded on a disk recording medium, or as one program reproduction management information file 3 in the desired sequence of reproduction.
