<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver capable of bringing the amount of color subcarrier signals of a composite video signal produced, after an analog broadcast received video image is converted into video data, within a specified value even when receiving a stream whose program clock reference (PCR) is greatly deviated from a standard value. <P>SOLUTION: A PLL circuit 5b compares the PCR with an output frequency of a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) 11 and returns a voltage being a result of comparison to the VCO 11 to allow the VCO 11 to output a reference clock corresponding to the PCR. A switch 19 applies a control voltage from the PLL circuit 5b to the VCO 11 during viewing of a digital broadcast program but gives a fixed voltage of a fixed voltage power supply 20 to the VCP 11 during viewing of an analog broadcast program so as to stably output a clock of 27 MHz independently of a change in the PCR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
