PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor 1, wherein vibration in the direction of the axis of the output shaft 2 of a rotor 1 is damped and vibration and noise are further reduced, as compared with conventional motors, and a hair dryer and the like with reduced noise and vibration which are produced close to the ears of the user, and incorporating such a motor 1. SOLUTION: In the motor 1, two thrust washers 4 and 8 are installed in between the rotor 9 and an output-side bearing 3 and between the rotor 9 and an opposite the output side bearing 6, respectively.
