VLIW INSTRUCTION CHECK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a VLIW (very long instruction word) instruction check system which generates a proper instruction when a program of a CPU having category limitations can be checked and does not satisfy the limitations. SOLUTION: The VLIW instruction check system has a plurality of processing units U0 to U3 in which the kinds and items of executable processes are limited and checks instructions executed by a VLIW type arithmetic processor in which combinations of items of executable processes which can be executed by the plurality of processing units at the same time are limited. The system is equipped with: a slot propriety judging means 101 of judging whether each of processes arranged in a 1VLIW instruction is of a kind executable by each processing unit; and a category propriety judging means 107 of judging whether each of the processes arranged in the 1VLIW instruction is an item of a process executable by each processing unit and whether a combination of items of processes of the 1VLIW instruction can be executed at the same time.
