PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control device for a discharge lamp capable of surely controlling output voltage of a DC-DC converter. SOLUTION: A delay circuit 12 is provided between an output terminal of a comparator 9 and a R terminal of an RS flip-flop 10. Even if a state in which an output of the comparator 9 is frequently switched in a short time is generated by fine fluctuation of output voltage Vin of the DC-DC converter 4, the high frequency signal is prevented from being inputted into the RS flip-flop 10.
