PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify when and where who exists even after authentication in the case of the authentication of location information of a portable terminal. SOLUTION: In a location authentication system having the portable terminal, a location information server for acquiring and providing the location information of the portable terminal, a location authentication server for assuring that the location information is not altered and a time authentication server for providing time information, the terminal has a terminal number and a data transmission means for transmitting the terminal number, the location information server has a data transmission means for transmitting the location information, the location authentication server has a data reception means for receiving the terminal number and the location information, a location information propriety verification means for verifying propriety of the location information and a signature generation means for generating an electronic signature for the location information and the time authentication server has a time acquisition means for acquiring time and a time transmission means for transmitting the time.
