<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system power supply IC having a plurality of outputs and a function of monitoring abnormality and protection for dealing with any kind of abnormality of all the kinds of power supply and carry out system-off protection, while investigation of the cause of the abnormality and a reproducing test can be carried out easily after the protection. <P>SOLUTION: When an abnormal condition is generated at any point of a plurality of power circuits, the abnormality detection signal along with time data is stored in a non-volatile memory with distinction of power circuits and abnormal conditions, and the operation of all the power circuits are stopped. By this stop operation, the system power supply IC and the load are protected, and the investigation of the cause of the abnormality and the reproducing test can be carried out easily by using the power supply, the abnormal condition and the time data stored in the non-volatile memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
