The modular revolving cylinder engine includes two inter-dependent flywheels. On their periphery there are push rod supports (5) with chambers (4) , sliding hollow push rods (7,8) and compression springs (6). As two push rod elements come together they define a chamber which is filled with fuel mixture, ignited and exploded, thus forcing them apart to maintain the drive of the flywheels. The modular revolving cylinder engine includes two inter-dependent flywheels driven in rotation by a slip-free driving device (1) rotating them in synchronization in opposite directions. The flywheels comprise on their periphery, offset on a parallel to the diameter, units consisting of push rod supports (5) with chambers (4) , sliding hollow push rods (7,8) and compression springs (6). When two push rods (7, 7B) are interlocked, the pre-compressed fuel mixture fills the chambers and the push rods through the corresponding slots (2,3). When the slots are no longer corresponding, a spark triggers the explosion. The explosion gas is forces through the ducts of the push rods causing them to be forced apart, thereby driving the flywheels in rotation. This process is repeated by the next interlocking push rods.
