The ball bearing cage, made of plastic, has several pockets (14) for balls (12). The cage surfaces (e.g. 16) are structured, at least in regions, with the structure extending into the ball pockets or coming up to the edges of them. The purpose of this structuring (26) is to transport lubricant to the friction points of the bearing.
