Slaughterers knife is designed as a stunning bolt and contains an axially tensioned knife system in a tubular housing which can be fired by trigger into the beast. Two coaxial systems are provided, the outer forming a splay knife to act like a harpoon tip once inside the beast and thus leave a centre hole for the bleeding knife to follow and drive through to the artery.
