<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cobalt-containing retrofilling material for a tooth, and a method for producing the retrofilling material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the cobalt-containing retrofilling material for the tooth comprises the following steps: a step for mixing calcium oxide and silicon dioxide in a molar ratio of 3:1 with 1-5 wt.% cobalt oxide added thereto, and heating the mixture to 1,200-1,800°C to provide an A-product containing tricalcium silicate, dicalcium silicate and a compound containing a cobalt component; a step for mixing the calcium oxide with aluminum oxide in a molar ratio of 3:1, and heating the mixture to 1,200-1,800°C to provide a B-product containing tricalcium aluminate; a step for mixing the calcium oxide, the aluminum oxide and iron oxide in a molar ratio of 4:1:1, and heating the mixture to 1,200-1,800°C to provide a C-product containing calcium aluminoferrite; and a step for mixing the A-product, the B-product and the C-product to provide the retrofilling material for the tooth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
