PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change over a receiving body to a permitting attitude and lock the receiving body to a blocking attitude by preventing the receiving body from being brought into a state inhibiting the change-over to the permitting attitude without remarkably increasing the cost thereof. SOLUTION: This vehicular elevating device is provided with: the receiving body 28 manually rotatable to the blocking attitude and the permitting attitude; and a manually-operable lock mechanism K for locking the receiving body 28 at the blocking attitude. The elevating device is also provided with an attitude-changing actuator for executing a permitting-side actuation for changing over the receiving body 28 to the permitting attitude and a blocking-side actuation for changing over the receiving body to the blocking attitude. The actuator is engaged with the receiving body 28 and the lock mechanism K so as to allow the unlock operation of the lock mechanism K by the permitting-side actuation to rotate the receiving body 28 to the permitting attitude, and to rotate the receiving body 28 to the blocking attitude and stop the unlock operation of the lock mechanism K by the blocking-side actuation.
