PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of the freshness of part of food materials by the other food materials, as well as to improve work efficiency upon assorting the food materials by providing a function of holding the arrangement of the food materials in using a food material pack in which the food materials of a plurality of types are assorted into one pack using a protective member. SOLUTION: The protective member 3 comprising a housing part 4 and a support 5 is used for the food material pack 1. The housing part 4 is made of a colorless and transparent resin or the like and formed into a bag-shape. The support 5 comprises a surface material 6 having an outer surface 9 which is formed to be rougher than the outer surface 10 of the housing part 4 and is fixed at a prescribed spot on the outer surface 10 of the housing part 4. When meat 13 is arranged next to the protective member 3 having the housing part 4 stuffed with vegetables 12, it is difficult for a piece of meat 13a placed on the outer surface 9 of the surface material 6 to shift from where it is placed, thus the assorting work of the meat 13 becomes easy.
