PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package wrapping an absorbent product which is easy to unseal and convenient to use, the absorbent product employing the package, and a method and an apparatus for manufacturing the package. SOLUTION: The package 10 receives the absorbent product 20 in a folded state. At least one of ends of a tear-open line 15 formed on the package 10 in the widthwise direction Y of the product 20 includes an extension 15b extending from one of faces of the package to the other face.
