PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing cosmetic essence using medicinal herbs to strengthen moisturizing and skin whitening effects, increase skin activity, removes freckles and discolorations from the face and protect the skin from harmful environment. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing cosmetic essence is characterized by extracting 0.1g of lily, 0.3g of Asparagus cochinchinensis, 0.2g of Trichosantes Kirilowii Maxim, 0.2g of ginseng, 0.2g of Ganoderma Sessile MURRILL, 0.2g of Magnolia kobus Dc., 0.1g of Platycodon grandiflorum, 0.1g of Nardostachys chinensis, 0.3g of licorice, 0.1g of Gleditsia japonica M. var. koraiensis Nakai, 0.3g of Agrimonia pilosa Ledebour, 0.4g of Coix lachryma-jobi var. mayun, 0.3g of Prunus armeniaca Linne var. ansu Maximowicz and 0.2g of Lonicera japonica Thunb.; mixing the extracts together, followed by concentration; and adding 2.0-5.0 wt.% of the concentrate to the raw material of cosmetic essence.
