<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal backward movement suppressing device enabling sure movement of a footing portion of a pedal frontward to a vehicle body in collision in various modes of a travelling vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A push-out member 24 adapted to be protruded from the front side of the vehicle body into a passenger room 12, and a control bracket 45 is arranged between the push-out member 24 and the pedal 17, which is pushed by the push-out member 24 moving backward to the vehicle body and oscillated for thrusting the pedal 17 at its upper part beyond a pivot 38 backward to the vehicle body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
