PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink recording head and an ink recorder in which print recording efficiency is enhanced by enhancing ink ejection efficiency from the ink meniscus surface at the time of recording operation. SOLUTION: The ink recording head comprises a support 1 having a slit-like opening 8 and forming a liquid chamber 7 being filled with ink by communicating with the opening, a power supply body 3 capable of supplying charges to the ink, a counter electrode 4 disposed oppositely to the opening, a driving power supply circuit 6 for applying a voltage between the power supply body 3 and the counter electrode 4 and a recording position altering means 9. Ink ejection efficiency is enhanced by altering the shape of the power supply body 3 in the vicinity of the slit-like opening 8 thereby increasing concentration of the surrounding field thus enhancing print recording efficiency.
