PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a power source in a state where a camera is held with one hand. SOLUTION: A front cover 12 with which the front of a camera body is covered is constituted of a grip part 13 which becomes a finger putting part when the camera is held with one hand and a decorative cover 14 where a photographic window 15 is formed, and the grip part 13 is provided to freely move between two positions, that is, a position where it approaches to the cover 14 and a position where it is separated from the cover 14 in a direction where it crosses with a photographic optical axis, and the power source switch of the camera is turned on/off in response to the movement of the grip part 13 between two positions. Then, the cover 12 is equipped with a click mechanism for positioning the grip part 13 at two positions respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
