PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib storage mechanism for a crane device with favorable safety performance and workability in which a jib suspended from a tip of a boom can be stored to a lower surface of the boom by only extension/ contraction actions of the boom in such a way that the jib can be transferred between the lower surface of the boom and a side surface. SOLUTION: This jib storage mechanism is provided with a guide mechanism provided with a first guide means 70 provided on the jib 10, and a second guide means 90 provided on the boom 3 to be engaged with the first guide means 70 as the jib 10 is suspended from the tip of the boom, so that the first guide means 70 and the second guide means 90 to be engaged with each other are relatively moved by extension/contraction actions of the boom 3 to diagonally direct the jib 10 in the length direction of the boom 3, and pull the jib 10 toward the lower surface of the boom 3. It is also provided with a holding means 11 and 12 to hold the jib 10 pulled to the lower surface of the boom 3 by the guide mechanism along the lower surface of the boom 3 to be stored.
