PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-powder dispersion which shows superior dispersibility when used for forming a conductive paste with the use of a dispersing agent for forming a paste, and as a result, prevents a short circuit or a delamination due to the unevenness on the electrode surface when used for making a laminated ceramic capacitor. SOLUTION: This preparation method comprises adding an organic solvent to the nickel-powder dispersion consisting of superfine nickel powders with an average particle diameter of 1μm or less, and of water medium, substituting at least a part of the water medium with the organic solvent, and then adding a polar solvent to treat a nickel powder.
