<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of outputting accumulated documents without wasting the resources of a network and a merging unit while sharing the authentication function for the accumulated documents, and to provide a method and a system for outputting accumulated documents. <P>SOLUTION: A first imaging apparatus 1a generates and transmits certification information and, on the other hand, transmits accumulated documents acquired from a document accumulating means to the document output service 133b of a second imaging apparatus 1b upon receiving an accumulated documents acquisition request utilizing the certification information from the document output service 133b of the second imaging apparatus 1b. Upon receiving the certification information, the second imaging apparatus 1b transmits an accumulated documents acquisition request utilizing the certification information to the document management service 132a of the first imaging apparatus 1a and, on the other hand, outputs the accumulated documents acquired from the document management service 132a of the first imaging apparatus 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
