PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil composition for electro-discharge machining excellent in machining accuracy, working speed as fundamental performance, suppressing production of tarry substance, excellent in exhausting property of rubbish made in machining, and improving workability and working environment. SOLUTION: The oil composition for electro-discharge machining is obtained by adding (A) a compound having two or more hydroxyphenyl groups and (B) a polymer having kinematic-viscosity≥30 mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 40≤,≥10 mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 100°C, and/or a polymer having≥500 of weight average molecular weight, to a base oil comprising a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil having a kinematic- viscosity of 0.5-20 mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 40°C.
