PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to operate a hinged roof and house a tent when the roof is closed. SOLUTION: The opening/closing mechanism for an automobile roof comprises collapsible open-close links 4 provided at right and left sides of the hinged roof 3 of an automobile between the roof 3 and a roof body 1, right and left cylinders 5 rotatably connected to the vicinity of the hinge axis 2 of the hinged roof 3 at one-side ends thereof and to the open-close folding axis 40 of the open-close links 4 at the other ends thereof, a tent 6 attached to the open-close end 30 of the hinged roof 3 at one end thereof and to the roof body 1 at the other end thereof, and a cord 7 provided laterally on the outer peripheral surface of the tent 6 and fixed to the right and left cylinders 5 at both ends thereof.
