PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit with a display changing function which can realize a display style providing good operability even for a user who has poor eyesight. SOLUTION: The imaging unit with the display changing function includes a diopter adjusting means of adjusting the diopter of an optical system suitably to a user, a diopter adjustment value acquiring means of reading the diopter adjustment value adjusted by the diopter adjusting means, a display means of providing information for the user so that the user operates equipment, a display parameter determining means of determining display parameters of the display means according to the diopter adjustment value obtained by the diopter adjustment value acquiring means, and a display changing means of changing display contents according to the display parameters determined by the display parameter determining means.
