<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange pipe connection structure, excellent in the sealing performance and durability even if a welded pipe such as an electro-resistance- welded tube is used in piping, capable of ensuring secure and stable joint strength. <P>SOLUTION: In the connection structure between a thin metal pipe end part and a flange joint, a double flare part which opens outward in the shape of a trumpet is formed in the thin metal pipe end part in such a way that a seal face is the outer surface, and the thin metal pipe end part and the flange joint are fastened by tightening a bolt with a plate-like flange body with the seal face of the double flare part abutting to a flat seal face of a matching pipe part. Further, a short straight pipe part is formed in the top end part of the double flare part, and the straight pipe part is engaged with the inside of the matching pipe part to be fastened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
