<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state monitoring method, a state monitoring system, a state monitor, a computer program, and a recording medium for performing high-speed estimation of a parameter of a model which has theorized the relations between time series data which represent the states of a monitoring object. <P>SOLUTION: The state monitor stores a first estimated value of the parameter and a first row of data formed from N time series data. When the state monitor receives (S4) a second row of data composed of (m) time series data, the monitor forms (S5) a third row of data by adding the second row of data to the first row of data. A second estimated value of the parameter relating to the third row of data is computed (S7) from the first estimated value and the third row of data, using a formula which has repeated computation of a Kalman filter (m) times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
