PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent rubber elastomer improved in low-temperature resistance, ozone resistance and other properties. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises (A) a hydrogenated chloroprene polymer, which is obtained by introducing hydrogen into a chloroprene polymer obtained by polymerizing 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene monomer and, as required, a monomer copolymerizable therewith thereby converting a part of carbon - carbon double bonds present in the polymer into a single bond, and, incorporated therewith, (B) at least one compound of a thiazole compound and a quinone compound, and (C) an acid acceptor.
