PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the usage of a condensate treatment agent in inhibiting corrosion occurring in a boiler system by using the condensate treatment agent. SOLUTION: A method for inhibiting corrosion at a condensate supply part 6 with a condensate treatment agent, in the boiler system 1 comprising: a boiler 2 for heating feedwater to generate steam; a water supply part 3 for supplying feedwater to the boiler 2; a steam supply part 5 for supplying steam generated in the boiler 2 to load equipment 4; and the condensate supply part 6 for supplying steam used in the load equipment 4 to the water supply part 3 as condensate, includes a determination step of determining the water quality of condensate condensed in the condensate supply part 6, and a condensate treatment agent supply step of supplying the condensate treatment agent to at least either the water supply part 3 or the steam supply part 5 according to the determination result by the determination step.
