PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation which exhibits a synergistically improved moisture-retaining effect and a high skin dry state-improving effect. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation contains the extract of Chamaenerion angustifolium (L.) Scop. or Epilobium angustifolium L., and one or more ingredients selected from amino acids, peptides such as collagen and elastin, polyhydric alcohol such as glycerol or diglycerol, phospholipids, glycolipids, steroids such as cholesterol and phytosterol, and sugars.
