PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having a camera shake preventing function whose constitution is simple, which can be used even in the case of photography on a condition that a photographer does not look in a finder and by which even a beginner can recognize that camera shake occurs. SOLUTION: In the camera, when a notification mode is set by an operation mode setting part 3, elapsed time from turning on a 1RSW11 until turning on a 2RSW12 is obtained at the time of photographing, and compared with specified time to decide that there is possibility that the camera shake occurs considering a focal distance or shutter speed by a comparison part 7. When the elapsed time is shorter than the specified time, a release button is pushed at one stretch to perform notification meaning that the photographer is urged to recognize the possibility that the camera shake occurs is high and notification (non-notification) meaning that photographing without camera shake is performed.
