PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling fan capable of reducing the noise by making the air flow uniform. SOLUTION: The fan is equipped with a shroud 14 having an opening 16 for air introduction, and an axial flow fan 11 arranged facing to the opening 16. The peripheral edge part 18 of the opening 16 of the shroud 14 is made to be the bellmouth shaped part 15 with gradually reducing diameter toward the introductory direction. In the cooling fan 10 provided with a side wall part 17 projecting in the opposite direction of the air introductory direction on the part of the peripheral edge part 18, a projected line part 19 projecting in the same direction as the side wall 17 is formed on the peripheral edge part 18 of the opening 16 of the shroud 14.
