Process for connecting a fixing eyelet (3) to the base (1) of a vibration damper comprises using a welding process. The eyelet is made from strip flat material produced by rolling or bending and has a V-shaped impact device (4). The base has a W-shaped groove composed of two rounded edges (5, 6). The depth and middle height are dimensioned so that the eyelet lies on the side edges of the groove. The impact device of the eyelet lies in a central position over the middle height of the groove. Preferred Features: Welding is carried out using resistance-pressure welding. The rounded edges of the groove are formed by radii with the same curve. |
